The space features a large gymnasium, a meeting room, a stage, and a food warming/preparation area, allowing it to accommodate a wide range of event needs. Conveniently located at 200 North High Street, Blackstone, VA 23824, the Armory provides a central and accessible setting for both small gatherings and larger events. The facility offers multiple rental options to best suit your event needs: North Training Room This space is ideal for small meetings or trainings. Dimensions: 240 SF / 130 SF Occupancy Load (@ 1/15): Maximum of 9 persons Multipurpose Room (includes Stage) This larger space is perfect for events, receptions, and community gatherings. DMV- Select The Town of Blackstone offers a DMV Select inside of the Town Treasurer's office. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. If you have any questions please call 434-292-7251.

Planning & Zoning The Zoning Administrator for the Town of Blackstone is Philip Vannoorbeeck. The Planning Commission is a 5 member body that is appointed by Town Council, and is tasked with making recommendations to Town Council regarding Re-Zoning requests and Use by Special Exception Requests. Please contact the Zoning Administrator to discuss any of these Zoning issues. The Planning Commission is also tasked with the update of the Town’s Comprehensive Plan.
