New Utility Service
To open up a new account with the Town of Blackstone you must visit our office to sign the new service
paperwork, provide all necessary documents, and pay the deposit and connection fees.
* Form of ID
* Social Security Card
* Copy of signed lease
If you are unable to provide a social security card, we can accept a formal document that has your full
name and full social security number. (Example: W2) We also offer to run a soft credit check that verifies
your social security number matches your name. Choosing to do this will be an extra $3.00 charge.
The deposit amount depends on what services are provided at the address for which you are inquiring.
* Electric: $250.00
* Water: $125.00
* Electric and water: $300.00
Connection fees are $10.00 per service.
We require that all documents and full payment is received before an account can be opened.
We accept cash, check, and card payments.
Our business hours are Monday-Friday from 8AM to 5PM. We do ask if you are coming in to set up new
utilities and would like it to be connected into your name the same day that you come in by 3:30 to get
all the paperwork processed.
