Nottoway County School System
A five-member elected school board and the Superintendent guide the Nottoway County Public School System. The Superintendent is in charge of the daily operation of the school system which educates approximately 2,500 K-12 students per year in six schools. Kenston Forest School is an independent, nondiscriminatory, college preparatory school in Blackstone. Founded in 1966, Kenston Forest School serves Nottoway County students as well as those in other counties.
